On 5 March, TU Dresden welcomed a group of 14 high school students for a hands-on visit to the university and its research facilities. During the visit, Robert Baumann gave a live demonstration of laser surface structuring, offering the students a practical glimpse into cutting-edge research. He also introduced OPeraTIC, explaining its goals and real-world relevance in an accessible and engaging way.
The students came from Temperley School in Argentina and were visiting Dresden as part of a broader educational trip. The initiative aimed to promote OPeraTIC while inspiring the students to consider future studies in STEM-related fields and careers.
