Sustainability experts from the LIMES cluster where many projects are participating in have met twice in online sessions to strengthen collaboration across projects. During these meetings, seven projects presented their sustainability-related activities: BILASURF, GlobalAM, LASERWAY, METAMORPHA, OPeraTIC, OPTIMAL, and WAVETAILOR.

The discussions focused on why and how to collaborate on sustainability, highlighting shared challenges and opportunities across laser-based manufacturing projects. As a key outcome, participants agreed that joint conference participation and co-authored conference papers are effective ways to build impact and advance sustainability together.
