Last week, OPeraTIC consortium partners gathered in France for their annual General Assembly, marking a significant milestone in the project’s journey. The event offered an opportunity for the partners to strengthen their collaboration, present the latest developments, and chart the course for future innovations.

The assembly began with a visit to the facilities of QiOVA, one of the key partners in the OPeraTIC project. Attendees had the chance to witness QiOVA’s cutting-edge laser technology and explore the groundbreaking work being done at their premises. QiOVA’s team provided an informative tour, sharing their expertise and innovations, which set a positive tone for the rest of the assembly.

Following the visit to QiOVA, the consortium headed to the historic Domaine et Château de Valinches, where the General Assembly officially commenced. This beautiful and serene location provided the ideal environment for productive discussions.

Throughout the meeting, consortium members shared their latest research results, discussed key project milestones, and engaged in meaningful discussions about the future direction of OPeraTIC. The first day concluded with a dinner at the Château, where participants enjoyed excellent cuisine and had the opportunity to learn about the history of Saint-Étienne.
