The OPeraTIC partners have met for the first time in Vigo, Spain, joining together at the offices of AIMEN, as project coordinators, to further the dialogues and discussions relating to the development of the project. 

Within the frame of this meeting, the partners were introduced to the main three use-cases, around which the project’s hardware and software will be developed, gaining valuable insights into the requirements and criteria of each. OPeraTIC will be working to deliver an innovative product which utilises ultra-short-pulsed lasers to increase the capacity for industrial product development in the areas of household products, aerospace, and car manufacturing, with some exciting research and experiments planned!

By meeting together in person at the AIMEN offices, the partners were able to delve deep into the multi-lateral dialogues needed to ensure the project aspects come together efficiently and productively to deliver the prototypes on time and to budget. With such an experienced and skilled team, the next few years are promising to be a fruitful and impactful period.
