The European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting (EWF) recently presented the OPeraTIC Project during its Specialization in Laser Welding course, introducing future professionals to cutting-edge advancements in laser-based manufacturing.

During the session, EWF highlighted OPeraTIC’s contributions to high-power ultrafast laser applications and fiber-based beam delivery systems. These innovations are set to enhance precision, efficiency, and sustainability in laser welding, enabling more flexible and automated industrial applications.

The discussion also focused on how OPeraTIC is driving progress in energy-efficient laser processes, supporting the development of next-generation welding technologies. By bridging the gap between research and real-world applications, the project is playing a key role in shaping intelligent and adaptive manufacturing environments.
