Successful Collaboration Between OPeraTIC Partners: TUD Visits AIMEN for Key Testing

In August, our partners from Technische Universität Dresden (TUD) visited AIMEN Centro Tecnológico, the coordinator of the OPeraTIC project, for a crucial phase of testing and collaboration.

During the visit, the teams worked together to test the advanced DLIP (Direct Laser Interference Patterning) head developed by TUD, alongside AIMEN’s custom-designed monitoring system. This marked a significant milestone in the development of laser heads for OPeraTIC’s final manufacturing solution.

The testing successfully validated the DLIP system’s capabilities for laser micro-structuring on various materials, moving the project one step closer to fully integrating this cutting-edge technology into large-scale industrial applications.
