Photonics Applications Week

November 2023

Applications which we use every day like LED light, LED TV, remote control are some consumer examples. But when you are a professional in an ecosystem such as Agriculture & Food, Consumer Electronics & Lighting, Datacom & Telecom, Health Care, Internet of Things (IoT) & Autonomous Systems, Manufacturing & Industry 4.0, Military & Aerospace, the examples of photonics applications are manyfold as well.

Equally important is the fact that without using photonics many applications in mentioned ecosystems are not possible / viable at all or at a higher cost and / or energy use!

At the same token there is an enormous opportunity to grow the number of applications in these ecosystems, particularly due to the further intergration on chips, called Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs).

The PHAPPS Week provides a platform that unites a series of events in one week which will draw together an unseen number of ecosystem (verticals) specialists / endusers on one hand and photonics specialists on the other hand, how to apply photonics for solving problems in their respective ecosystems.

PHAPPS Week invites ecosystem associations, companies, research organisations, institutes, event organisers, start-ups, branche organisations etc. to organise an event during this week in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Share your market demand with professionals from the photonics industry and see how they can help you, instead of the other way around. Network with photonics experts and business peers to learn how your company can stay ahead of the innovation curve.

The week is an initiative of Jakajima.
